Greetings From Harmonic Media!

Greetings From Harmonic Media!

The end of the year always brings reflection to the amazing accomplishments of those last 365 days, and there were some gems for us in 2015!  We are very grateful for our customers who allow us to collaborate with them on all the unique projects and make some pretty awesome stuff!  We wanted to reach out and share some memories of the year as we look forward to another great one!

New Printer

First and foremost, Harmonic Media has expanded our printing capabilities.  We now have a beast of a flatbed printer, some details for you print nerds, it has a 5’ x 8.5’ bed, UV ink with white ink on demand, and sheet thickness is 2” or less.  There is so much we can do with this machine; it has been fun to play with!  We are thrilled to offer this capability, and are having folks down for a tour and demonstration, so if you have never been down to our shop, or have a creative team that needs a field trip, now is the time! Flatbed Printer Video

New Website

Harmonic Media also gave the web-site a face lift.  It is now more user friendly, and better demonstrates the fabulous graphics we make.  Please take a minute and check it out, while you are there, give us a like on Facebook and Instagram!  Lastly, we would like to thank the Harmonic Crew, our team makes us who we are and we could not do it without their talent and dedication!  We wish you the best in 2016.

Our projects get wackier and wackier, but that is what we are good at!  We push the boundaries when it comes to graphics capabilities in Denver.  Some of the highlighted projects in 2015 include Winter X Games and Cirque Du Soleil’s Kurios. A few case studies below.

Winter X Games

2015 started with a bang with the Winter X Games.  Aspen, Colorado’s Buttermilk Mountain has been hosting this celebrated event for years, but with no real way finding signage. Harmonic Media was brought in to transform the experience during Winter X in 2015.  We were asked to design a look and feel for each of the areas while still being on brand with the overall look of the X Games. While our graphic designers here in Denver were pushing along, we were also working on several interactive props for this winter staple.  It was truly an inspiring project that turned into a great relationship that has transpired into Summer X Games in Austin, TX. There are many more great things to come from this staple of Colorado mountain lifestyle and action sports.

Cirque Du Soleil’s Kurios

Cirque Du Soleil’s Kurios signage at Denver Chalk Art Festival was by far one of the coolest custom advertising projects we have ever been a part of! We partnered up with local Denver graphic design powerhouse AOR for this collaboration. The idea to promote this one-of-a kind event really came together over Larimer Square this past summer as these gigantic custom vinyl graphics rose over the streets of Downtown Denver.  It was no small order to create these massive visuals measuring around 30’ in length and 6’ in height, suspended across one of Colorado’s most iconic streets.  This multimedia display was viewed by thousands of people during the annual Chalk Art Fest held on Larimer and its surrounding areas. The partnership between Harmonic Media, AOR, Larimer Square, and Cirque Du Soleil resulted in a record breaking attendance at the Kurios show this past summer.

DIA

Working with Denver International Airport (DIA) on the rebrand was also very monumental.  A big part of our full contact approach at Harmonic Media is to consult and collaborate with our clients to determine the best approach to an idea. Working alongside creative teams that bring us in on the front end to discuss potential projects always results in amazing executions. DIA wanted a way to celebrate their upcoming 20th anniversary, which also lead up to a re-branding of the airports identity, and came to us with a really cool project. The idea was to showcase our wonderful city of Denver and everything Colorado has to offer visually in our vast outdoors.  We were asked to fabricate life–sized postcards that attracted its huge amount of daily passengers and gave them an opportunity to interact with the faux scenery, snap a photo, and post it to social media.
