Anubis, the Egyptian God of Death, was on tour with Denver Art Museum’s King Tut exhibit and made quite the impression here in Denver. The first stop of the 24’ tall, sculpted foam statue was at Denver International Airport. We came in when it made its next stop at Mile High Stadium. Harmonic Media was contracted to create the largest, official, Denver Broncos uniform ever made and fit it to the statue. All of this was to cross brand the Broncos, who were about to begin Orange Crush Week, and the King Tut exhibit at the Museum. We took accurate measurements and created a seamstress style pattern for this oversized prop. We then graphically designed the uniform and tailored large dye-sub graphics to fit. Next came the installation. It was not easy, but we were able to make it happen! Next came the pants: pulling them up from the bottom and using a Velcro enclosure system on the inseam to make sure they were snug. The end result was a towering prop that certainly turned some heads!
